Goldfinch is a woman-led garden care firm operating out of Richmond, VA.

Owner and founder, Sami Dean, developed a deep appreciation for gardening through nearly a decade of experience designing, enhancing, and maintaining countless landscapes in the Greater Richmond Region. Inspired to create a greener approach to conventional landscape practices, Goldfinch Gardening was formed.

While upholding a respect for the signature styles that have shaped our local historic gardens, we prioritize the incorporation of native plant materials, sustainable techniques, and contemporary design into each project. We seek to reestablish and restore the collective relationship with nature in our neighborhoods, without compromising on aesthetics.
